This family one of our families closest friends in the area and I am so blessed and adore that they choose me to capture their growing family and fill their walls with all the special memories. I started photographing them as a family of three with their gorgeous pups. It was very much meant to happen that this session took place when it did and that we included their dogs. Very sadly, shortly after their first session, they lost their sweet Kora. It was a hard loss for the Kirk family as she was part of their family.
As soon as the Kirk family found out they were expecting their second child, they reached out...
We know that planning for a newborn session can be a bit overwhelming. Here are some tips to help you prepare so that your session runs as smoothly as possible. This is such a special and important time to document. We don't want you, as parents, to have a single worry going into this. We are always happy to make suggestions and answer any additional questions you may have.
AVOID SPICY FOODS
Nursing moms, be sure to be cautious of what you eat 24 hours prior to your newborns session. Spicy foods can often make a nursing baby uncomfortable or upset their tummy. Avoid spicy foods and any food the baby may have allergies to at all cost.
I have so much for this beautiful woman. A mother of 5 incredible little ladies! Any session with multiple small children has the potential to get a little crazy. Some children and toddlers can be rather unpredictable. ALL 5 girls were so well behaved and listened so well. I had a wonderful time with these ladies and am so thankful to spend part of my morning with them.
With two beautiful girls already, the butlers will finally be adding a little boy to the family! We may have froze our butts off and braved the rain for this session but id say it was worth it. When pregnancy looks this good on you, maternity pictures are the way to go. I really enjoyed getting to know this sweet family and providing them with beautiful portraits to fill their walls with.
When two families join together to become one, often times it results in one big family. At the end of last year I shared a surprise proposal session from when Kamaron popped the question. Now I am happy to share family photos of this sweet couple and their four incredible children. Ive been photographing Tineka and her kiddos for many years and it warms my heart to see the happiness that has been created because these two fell in love!
It had been awhile since I had me a precious baby girl in my studio to snuggle on, I was so overjoyed to photograph this beautiful little lady and her gorgeous older sister! She was so peaceful when she slept and did such a wonderful job letting me move her around and pose her. During nursing breaks miss addy and I had fun letting her strike a few poses too. I cant forget to mention that both these beauties are Denver Broncos fans and I LOVED that their parents wanted to incorporate that into their session.
Baby Mason is one very loved little man! The birth of this sweet boy has brought happiness to so many. While his momma and daddy are so proud and their hearts are so full, Mason has 4 older sibling who love and cherish him so much. Being able to travel back to my home town to capture these sweet moments is something that I am so grateful for. I may not get to go home to visit often but when i do get to go for a reason like this it makes my heart swell. <3
As a newborn and family photographer I have the pleasure of seeing families grow and expand. This beautiful momma has been a friend of mine for years. In fact she was one of the first to hold my oldest for the first time. Seeing her become a mom has been incredible and watching her journey as their children grow and learn is such a blessing. I am always happy yo get people that I care about and love in front of my camera. This session is definatly close to my heart. <3
